Emma had her first restaurant trip today – hard to believe it took over three weeks for this to happen. She went to Red Lobster with Mom and Papa today for lunch and slept the whole time. Good thing too, I don’t think anyone was willing to share their food with her!

Just a few new pictures

I just put a few new pictures up last night.

Today we went to Emma’s second doctors appointment. Everything went smooth. She was 20 inches tall and weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces. All good news. We don’t have to go back for another 6 weeks if all goes well. That appointment will be fun though. She will get 5 shots at that visit.

Everybody is doing great and we had our first car ride today. We passed all of our tests yesterday and last night so we saw both doctors this morning and they released both Jen and Emma. We were home by 11:30am. Had some time to take a short rest and then got back to it. Had to get a few things and start cleaning and getting things setup as Emma was a little early. We had expected at least another week of prep, but due to circumstances beyond our control emma came almost 2 weeks early.

Emma Kathryn Newcastle was born Sept 1st 2007 at 11:36am. She was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 1/2 inches.
